Abstract
Patho-anatomical abnormalities in the eyes occurred in 7.7% (119 out o f 1540) sheep and 4% (86 out of 2150) goats. The lesions encountered i n the conjunctiva were haemorrhages and subacute or chronic inflammati on. In the cornea oedema, neovascularisation, pigmentation and inflamm ation were the salient findings. Sclera revealed cartilaginous metapla sia in a few cases.
