Abstract
A method for solving a three-dimensional boundary-value problem of tid al dynamics is considered, which invokes a numerical canonical transfo rmation of an arbitrary domain to determine the vertical mean values o f current parameters. Subsequently, a three-dimensional problem for de viations of the current profile from its mean position is solved. The method is used for the calculation and analysis of the vertical struct ure of a tidal wave M-2 in the Barents Sea.
