Abstract
The results of regular lidar measurements of the cloud base height in the range from 100 to 6000 m, as well as the aerosol backscattering co efficient in the lowest 500-m layer obtained in June 1994 are describe d. The time variations and statistical characteristics of the cloud ba se height are presented.
