Abstract
The authors describe the presence of strongyloidiasis in two brasilian brothers adopted by a sicilian family. Asthma and perianal eczema wer e the most evident clinical features in a brother. The other brother w as asymptomatic. Both the patients presented marked eosinophilia and i per-IgE. Strongyloides stercoralis larvae were recovered by the duoden al string test (Enterotest).
