Abstract
A behavioral model of magnetic materials is presented. This model take s into account both hysteresis and dynamic phenomena. It predicts B(H) , phi(t), and d phi(t)/dt characteristics, and a few pieces of experim ental data are needed to identify its parameters. In this paper, the a uthors propose to validate the model for some typical applications enc ountered in power electronics. Results obtained are very satisfactory.
