Abstract
Two new peroxyterpenyl coumarins including peroxyschininallylol [7-(3' ,7'-dimethyl-6'-hydroper oxyocta-2',7'-dienyloxy)-8-methoxy coumarin] and peroxyschinilenol [7-(3',7'-dimethyl-7'-hydroper oxyocta-2',7'-die nyloxy-8-methoxy coumarin] were isolated from the chloroform-soluble p art of the root bark of Zanthoxylum schinifolium. The structures of th ese compounds were elucidated by spectral analyses.
