Abstract
Functional endoscopic sinus surgery has revolutionized the treatment o f sinus disorders. Orbital complications can be encountered despite th e use of endoscopes, which offer brilliant illumination and precise su rgery because of the close relationship of the orbit to the ethmoids. Commonly encountered orbital complications and the reasons for their d evelopment are discussed.
