Abstract
This review summarizes the data on the indirect photometric detection of nonelectrolytes published in the last 15 years. Special attention i s focused on the analysis of interactions producing an indirect respon se in chromatographic systems, the requirements imposed on mobile-phas e modifiers, factors affecting indirect detection sensitivity, and the disadvantages and prospects of this technique.
