Dw. Liao et al., VIBRONIC THEORY OF SUM-FREQUENCY GENERATION AND ITS APPLICATIONS TO SURFACE SCIENCE, Journal of the Korean Physical Society, 32(3), 1998, pp. 320-325
The main purpose of this paper is to develop a vibronic theory for IR-
UV SFG (sum-frequency-generation) spectra, which can be used to calcul
ate the spectral intensity, the spectral band shape and the spectral b
and shift as functions of temperature. As an application. we present t
heoretical results for the effect of the temperature on IR and SFG spe
ctra of C-H and C-D on diamond surfaces. The agreement between experim
ent and theory is satisfactory.
