Abstract
Angular correlation patterns of N-5-O23O23 S-1(0) Auger electrons in c oincidence with 4d(5/2) photoelectrons in the two-step double photoion ization of xenon and those of two outgoing 5p photoelectrons in coinci dence with each other in the direct double photoionization of xenon we re measured with a circularly polarized photon beam from a helical und ulator. Circular dichroism was clearly observed in both cases. For the two-step process, the experimental data were in good agreement with t he theoretical prediction based on the two-step model.
