Abstract
A proposed EU directive defines a VOC as having a vapour-pressure of 1 0 Po or above at 20 degrees C. Vapour pressures ore related to boiling -points. Thus the rapid method described in this paper for the determi nation of normal atmospheric pressure using Differential Scanning Calo rimetry can be used to characterise solvents as VOC or not.
