Abstract
The results of the measurements of the solids concentration region in a circulating fluidized bed are described. An electrical capacitance t omography system has been used to measure both instantaneous and avera ge solid distributions as a function df a superficial air velocity and a solid mass Aux. The fractional wall coverage by clusters and the so lids concentration within the annulus layer was measured. The data is compared with the results available from the literature.
