Abstract
We report a very rare case of ileo-abdominal fistula caused by penetra tion of the ileal diverticulum. Small bowel diverticulosis is generall y considered to be an innocuous condition. In this report, we describe a case of ileal diverticulitis associated with an abdominal wall absc ess.
