Collective intersubband spin-and charge-density excitations in a syste
m of 2D electrons and the dependence of the excitations on the perpend
icular magnetic field are investigated by the inelastic light scatteri
ng method. Magnetooscillations of the energies of collective excitatio
ns are found, and it is shown that they are observed in the quantum Ha
ll effect regime. The energy of the direct Coulomb interaction of thr
electrons and its oscillatory variation as a function of the perpendic
ular magnetic field are measured directly from the energy splitting of
