Abstract
It was found that poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) could be used as a trans ferring medium to effect the concentration of tris(1,10-phenanthroline )iron(II) in homogeneous aqueous solution without using organic solven ts at all. The optimum conditions, such as pH, poly(N-isopropylacrylam ide) concentration, kind and concentration of counter anion, and the t ime for centrifugal phase separation were examined.
