Abstract
The thermal behaviors of potassium perchlorate with graphite powder we re investigated by DTA, and the kinetic parameters of the thermal deco mposition of potassium perchlorate with graphite powder were studied b y dynamic TG. Graphite powder plays a catalytic role in thermal decomp osition of potassium perchlorate. Adding graphite powder into potassiu m perchlorate results in remarkable acceleration effect on the decompo sition of KClO4.
