Abstract
We report a case in which computed tomography (CT) demonstrated gas wi thin a thrombus in the superior vena cava in a patient with fever of u nknown origin (FUO), indicating that the thrombus was infected. This C T finding is important to recognize, as if affects subsequent therapy. (C) Elsevier Science Inc., 1998.
