Simulation was used to study the possibility of using a horizontally r
otating cylinder as a reactor for fluorination of gaseous hydrocarbons
(ethylene, in particular) with cobalt(III) fluoride with the aim of e
nsuring a stationary thermal mode of synthesis. The extent of cylinder
filling with CoF3 powder is less than 3.14 rad.
