Abstract
Campylopus circinatus J.-P. Frahm is described as new from Australia. 103. Campylopus sehnemii Bartr., a species so far only known from SE-B razil, is reported for the first time from Bolivia. 104. Campylopus el ongatus Brid., a species erroneously recorded for Europe is identical with Pilopogon guadeloupensis (Brid.) J.-P. Frahm. 105. Campylopus hol omitrius (C. Mull.) Jaeg. is a superfluous name for Campylopus capilla ceus Hook. & Wils. These names were used to characterize a species whi ch occurs in New Zealand around fumaroles. The type is, however, ident ical with Campylopodium medium (Duby) Giese & J.-P. Frahm. The name Ca mpylopus lonchochaete C. Mull. has to be used for the species growing in geothermal areas. 106. Campylopus nietneri (C. Mull.) Jaeg. is syno nymous with Campylopus fragilis (Brid.) B., S. & G. subsp. goughii (Mi tt.) J.-P. Frahm. 107. Campylopus thwaitesii (Mitt.) Jaeg. is identica l with C. controversus (Hampe) Jaeg. and recorded for a second time fr om Sri Lanka. 108. Campylopus gaudichaudii Besch. is identical with C. savannarum (C. Mull.) Mitt. 109. Campylopus carolinae Grout, a specie s formerly known from Brasil and SE-North Amerika, is recorded for a s econd time from Africa.
