Abstract
We characterize those analytic self-maps phi of the unit disc which ge nerate bounded or compact composition operators C-phi between given we ighted Banach spaces H-upsilon(infinity) or H-upsilon(0) of analytic f unctions with the weighted sup-norms. We characterize also those compo sition operators which are bounded or compact with respect to all reas onable weights upsilon.
