Abstract
We obtained an explicit description of complemented radicals in the la ttice of all radicals. As an application we obtained an explicit descr iption of radicals whose essential cover is a semisimple class. Finall y, we obtained a description of radicals alpha such that every finitel y generated alpha-semisimple ring is a direct sum of simple rings. (C) 1998 Academic Press.
