Abstract
A series of oligodeoxynucleotides bearing the alkaline hydrolysis prod uct of pamamycin, an antibiotic from Streptomyces aurantiacus with pen etration enhancement potency, were prepared by automated solid-phase s ynthesis. In order to allow conjugation of the anionophoric moiety to the 3'-terminus of oligodeoxynucleotides, an appropriately derivatized CPG support was synthesized.
