Abstract
2,4-dichloro-5-nitrobenzoic acid (C7H3NO4Cl2) has been investigated by means of X-ray powder diffraction. The title compound is monoclinic w ith unit-cell parameters a=13.761 (2), b=8.435 (1), c=7.684 (1) Angstr om, beta=99.85 (1)degrees, V=878.5 (1) Angstrom(3), Z=4, D-x=1.772 g/c m(3), space group P2(1)/a (14).
