Hx. Wu et al., POWDER DIFFRACTION OF [CO(NH3)(5)CO3]NO3-CENTER-DOT-1 2H(2)O AND [CO(NH3)(4)CO3]NO3-CENTER-DOT-1/2H(2)O/, Powder diffraction, 13(1), 1998, pp. 32-34
Two compounds, [Co(NH3)(5)CO3]NO3 . 1/2H(2)O (labeled A) and [Co(NH3)(
4)CO3]NO3 . 1/2H(2)O (labeled B), were obtained and characterized by X
-ray powder diffraction. The samples were indexed using the programs T
REOR90 and DICVOL91. In a monoclinic setting, the cell parameters are
a=7.6661(3) Angstrom, b=9.6212(3) Angstrom, c=7.0725(4) Angstrom, beta
=106.261(4)degrees, V=500.78 Angstrom(3), M-20=36, F-30=65 (0.0106, 44
) for A and a=10.5623(5) Angstrom, b=22.7304(18) Angstrom, c=7.5174(5)
Angstrom, beta=91.350(5)degrees, V=1804.31 Angstrom(3), M-20=36, F-30
=82 (0.0071, 52) for B. The space group is probably P2(1)/m(11) for A
and P2(1)/n(14) for B according to their reflection conditions. (C) 19
