A flow-type apparatus and a new analytical procedure for solubility me
asurements of low volatile substances in compressed,eases were develop
ed. The equipment and the procedure were tested by measurements of sol
ubility of decane and naphthalene in compressed carbon dioxide. Obtain
ed results for both systems were in a very good agreement with literat
ure data. The accuracy of the method was discussed. New solubility dat
a for I-propanol and 1,2-propanediol in compressed carbon dioxide were
obtained at three isotherms in the temperature range 311-333 K and pr
