We investigate muonic components of baryons and conclude that the nucl
eon has little valence glue, while the Roper resonance is largely a hy
brid, In our study Of scalar hadrons ive find a pure glueball mode pos
sible near 500 Mev, while mixed scalar mesons and glueballs are in the
region of the f(0)(1500) and the f(0)(1370), with the former being ma
inly a glueball and the latter mainly a meson. Tests of these states b
y decay branching ratios require three-point functions, and nonlocal c
ondensates are useful for theoretical studies within the general metho
d of QCD sum rules. We use the Dyson-Schwinger method to study the str
ucture of the gluon propagator and nonlocal quark condensates.
