STRUCTURE OF LIGHT LAMBDA-HYPERNUCLEI AND THE LAMBDA-N INTERACTION

Light Lambda hypernuclear structure has been investigated through the (pi(+), K+) reaction with use of the SKS spectrometer. Preliminary exc itation energy spectra of Li-7(Lambda), Be-9(Lambda), C-13(Lambda) and O-16(Lambda) have been measured in the KEK-PS E336 experiment. The sp ectra of C-12(Lambda) and O-16(Lambda) were discussed in view of the L ambda N interaction. It was shown that the high-quality Lambda hypernu clear spectra provide us with a valuable mean for the investigation of the Lambda N interaction.
