Abstract
Flow-injection analysis (FIA) system incorporating in-valve solid-phas e ex-traction microcolumn for on-line separation and preconcentration using a new resin, U/TEVA.Spec(TM), has been proposed for the spectrop hotometric determination of uranium in geological samples using 4-(2-p yridylazo) resorcinol (PAR) as a color agent. Optimization of the cond ition involved in the system was investigated. Possibility of a single standard calibration is discussed. (C) 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
