Abstract
Researchers examined the relationship between recent stressful life ev ents in the past year and health-related quality of life (HRQOL) among 350 college students. Results indicate that stressful life events (i. e., autonomous, distressful, family or parental, and sexual life event s) were related to poorer HRQOL. Furthermore, gender did not moderate the relationship between stressful events and HRQOL.
