Abstract
New results oil the non-equilibrium growth patterns of silver have bee n reported in a batch reactor using cells with different electrodic ar rangements. Scanned picture of silver aggregate has been analysed and fractal dimension calculated by box counting method. A transition from dendritic to a net like morphology is observed on addition of copper nitrate. Cathode potential changes with time have been monitored in ba tch and flow reactors and oscillations of small amplitude observed. Ne xt area plots indicate that oscillations are periodic.
