Abstract
Dielectric constants and refractive indices data at 308.15 K for all i somers of butanol with cyclohexane, benzene, toluene, o-, m- and p-xyl enes have been reported. The analysis of data shows the presence of st rong specific interactions between butanol and aromatic hydrocarbon. F rohlich equation is used to calculate the apparent dipole moment of th ese binary mixtures.
