Abstract
Fe(II) complex of 2-nitroso-2, 3-dihydrophenalene-1,3-dione has been o btained as a result of Fe(III) interaction with the ligand. The oxidat ion state and the structure of the Fe(II) complex have been proved by means of Mossbauer, EPR and magnetochemical data. The coordination mod e of the ligand is discussed on the basis of the IR data obtained.
