Abstract
Termination structures of surfaces of zeolite L crystals are studied b y high-resolution electron microscopy (HREM). By comparing observed HR EM images with simulated ones based on some ideal models. of the surfa ce structure, a Studied reliable surface structure model is proposed. Microscopy The framework of the structural model is terminated with do uble six-membered rings on the (001) surface and with cancrinite cages on the (100) and (110) surfaces of the crystallite.
