Abstract
A dendritic, highly monodisperse hybrid polymer is produced by ring-op ening metathesis polymerization of a norbornenediol ketal affixed to a second-generation dendron bearing multiple aromatic (naphthyl) chromo phores. Substantial excimer emission observed in the hybrid polymer at tests to significant polymer aggregation and interchromophore interact ion, even in dilute solution.
