Abstract
Analytic expressions are derived for and quantitative estimates are ob tained of the frequency and damping (decay) decrement of relaxation os cillations of the intensity of radiation from a 2-mu m thulium laser w ith a Cr3+, Tm3+:YSGG crystal operating under cw and pulsed conditions .
