Abstract
The syntheses of the eta-lutidine(phosphine)molybdenum compounds [Mo(e ta(6)-NC5H3Me2-2,6)L-3] (L = PMe3 1, PPh2H 2, PPhMe3 3), [Mo(eta(6)-NC 5H3Me2-2,6)(CH3C[CH2PPh2](3))] 4, [Mo(eta(6)-HNC5H3Me2-2,6)L-3][BF4] ( L=PMe3 5, PPh2H 6, PPhMe2 7), [Mo(eta(6)-HNC5H3Me2-2,6)(CH3C[CH2PPh2]( 3))] [BF4] 8 and [Mo(eta(6)-H3BNC5H3Me2-2,6)L-3] (L = PPh2H 9, PPhMe2 10) are described. The crystal structures of complex 2 and 5 have been determined. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science S.A.
