Abstract
Results of static and dynamic penetration test of flat, conical and bu llet shaped cylinders of three different diameters on both fragile and ductile target media are presented. Empirical and theoretical express ions for the variation of the penetration force with the penetrations depth are given and the influence of the various governing factors dis cussed.
