Abstract
The mechanism of spontaneous limitation imposed on the rate of heterog eneous thermal decomposition of organometallic compounds by transport fluxes near the reaction zone is shown to be governed by the chemical nature of the reagent and by a combination of external and internal pa rameters of the system.
