Abstract
Aluminium salts are the major constituent of many widely used antipers pirant products. The use of such antiperspirants has been linked with the systemic accumulation of aluminium and an increased risk of Alzhei mer's disease. But can the frequent use of aluminium-based antiperspir ants lead to the accumulation of toxic levels of aluminium? And are th ere measures that we can take to reduce such accumulation without redu cing the effectiveness of antiperspirants?
