The Zr-90(p,t)Zr-88 reaction has been studied in a high resolution exp
eriment at an incident energy of 25 MeV. Angular distributions for tra
nsitions to the levels of Zr-88 up to an excitation energy of similar
to 3.1 MeV have been measured. The data have been analyzed by means of
the DWBA theory using double folding triton potential. The energy spe
ctrum of Zr-88 has been studied in the framework of shell model.
