Circularly polarized magnetic bremsstrahlung gamma-radiation of ultrar
elativistic electrons is suggested to be used to produce polarized neu
trons by photonuclear reactions on light nuclei with a single valence
neutron in the p-shell. The polarization. spectral and integral charac
teristics of photoneutrons produced have been determined by multigroup
calculations for Be-9 distinguished by an anomalously low neutron bin
ding energy. It is shown that electron beam parameters of modern stora
ge rings, such as LEP, PETRA or HERA, and linear electron-positron col
liders, such as SLC, allows the pulsed neutron fluxes with unprecedent
ed space-time, spectral and polarization properties to be produced.
