Abstract
A computer program is compiled to work out the ray-tracing of UV detec tor of high performance capillary Electrophoresis (HPCE). Based on cal culating results obtained by calculating, some practical methods for a djusting the distance between lens and capillary are provided to make UV detector work on the optimatic condition. The experiments with the aid of the method show a satisfactory detection sensitivity. The metho d for adjusting ray-tracing can be used into all kinds of HPCE UV-dete ctor.
