Abstract
3-Aroylethylsydnones and phenylhydrazine were heated in ethanol via an elimination, condensation, and cyclization to give 1-phenyl-3-arylpyr azolines. Their structures are confirmed by elemental analysis, IR, UV and H-1 NMR analysis.
