Abstract
This correspondence considers the convergence characteristics of the d elayless subband adaptive digital filters (ADF's) proposed by Morgan a nd Thi. We derive a formula for the step-size parameter to ensure the convergence of ADF's and show that the derived formula enables self-ad justing of its value to ensure convergence regardless of the type of a nalysis filters employed or characteristics of the input signals. Cons ideration on the efficient implementation of the structure using short -length analysis fitters is given through the results of simulations.
