Abstract
The propose a method based cn the study of wavelet transform modulus m axima to characterize signal or image edges from smoothed singularitie s. This characterization is used to extract robust feature points from object edges. They are tracked along all image sequence to study the motion of unrigid objects. Practical results of edge characterization and motion determination are presented.
