Abstract
The fragmentation process of diagnostic interest in Ofloxacin is the c leavage of 1,4-oxazine ring through beta-hydrogen migration of C-3 hyd rogen to the oxygen resulting in the elimination of CH3-C=CH2 radical to yield the ion d at m/z 276 from the [M-CO2](+) ion.
