Abstract
Nothing to sneeze at: With Americans shelling out more than $2 billion each year on allergy relief, some scientists in academia and industry are venturing beyond histamine, probing the biochemical events leadin g to an allergic response; while the industry job market in this area is not a blockbuster one, there are significant opportunities for rese archers in certain fields.
