Abstract
In view of the renewed interest in pharmacological treatment of anorex ia-cachexia in cancer patients over the past 3 years, both the establi shed drugs used in its treatment and the emerging new drugs still bein g tested for it are reviewed. Results of trials that have already been evaluated are reported, and possible areas for further research are i ndicated.
