The populations of vibrational N-2(X-1 Sigma(g)(+)) and O-2(X-3 Sigma(
g)(-)) levels were calculated for a de discharge air plasma at a press
ure of 30-300 Pa and a current of 20-110 mA. The results of calculatio
ns were compared with the previously measured efficient vibrational te
mperatures of N-2(X-1 Sigma(g)(+)). The possible mechanisms of process
es allowing us to correlate experimental with calculated data were dis
cussed.
