Abstract
A new adaptive algorithm is proposed for training soft-limiter based c orrelation receiver in which the direct sequence code division multipl e access signals corrupted by impulsive symmetric a-stable noise are d emodulated. The new adaptation algorithm allows simpler implementation and faster convergence speed in comparison with the traditional adapt ive stochastic gradient-based algorithms.
